Run with John McInroy

The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History is proud to announce its partnership with John McInroy, founder of the Unogwaja Challenge and I Wear Red Socks on Friday.

Known in 70 countries, this is McInroy’s first trip to the United States and Bryan College Station is his first stop, where he will be running in the Buffalo Stampede and making a difference with the Museum. It is very appropriate that a man from Africa, with the heart of a lion, partner with the Museum, which is dedicated to preserving and showcasing specimens, like the African lion currently on display.

John McInroy will be participating in several Museum activities during his stay. The Museum will be selling ShoOops! Red Socks for those interested in being a part of Red Sock Fridays, as a reminder to "stay positive, to make a difference, and follow your heart." McInroy will also be giving a free public presentation on Thursday October 2nd, at 7:00pm in the MSC Gates Ballroom, Room 2400.  McInroy will visit the Museum during packet pick-up on Thursday, October 2.

For more information, read about John McInroy.
