BVMNH Owl-O-Ween

Join the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History for an Owl-O-Ween Festival for all ages from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19th! Festival participants will be entertained by the TAMU Biology Department with live bats, The Urban Interface with live owls, the Entomology Graduate Student Organization with live insects and spiders, and The Reptile Sanctuary with live snakes and lizards. Don’t miss the chance to visit with all of these iconic Halloween creatures up close!

The spook-tacular event includes educational booths, face painting, crafts, carnival games, (including Treat Walk and Halloween Plinko). Admission to the Museum, educational booths, and Halloween crafts will be free to all visitors.

Tickets may be purchased to participate in carnival games, concession stand purchases, and this year’s Indoor Trick or Treating in the Museum’s Gallery.

All ages are invited to come in costume for a chance to win trophies in the following categories: scariest; cutest; most unique; best child; best adult; and best group.  Awards will be announced at 7:45 p.m.

Visitors are encouraged to view museum exhibits, and participate in all the fun while learning about Halloween animals and Halloween safety.
