Brazos Valley Worldfest 2008 & Education Competition

Be sure to visit the Museum's booth at Worldfest!

Celebrate the diverse cultures and heritage of the Brazos Valley community at Brazos Valley Worldfest on Saturday, November 22, 2008 in historic downtown Bryan from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Presented by Citibank, and organized by Texas A&M University, Brazos Valley Worldfest will celebrate international awareness by offering cultural displays, demonstrations, international cuisine, performances, children's crafts, educational competitions and many other activities. This event is free and open to the public.

Veteran's Weekend

The Museum will have a booth in Downtown Bryan at the Historic Downtown Bryan Veterans Weekend Celebration. Join us to support our veterans, local businesses, and the Museum of the American G.I.

Aggie Polar Palooza

The Museum will have a display at TAMU and also be doing an after event program at the Bush Museum.

Boonville Days Heritage Fair

Join the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History for the 3rd annual BOONVILLE DAYS HERITAGE FAIR! Bring the entire family to enjoy this celebration of our heritage from 10 am to 5 pm. Activities will take place both inside the Museum and on the Brazos Center grounds.

Learn about Brazos County’s pioneer history: visit with characters in period costume, observe demonstrations of frontier skills and trades, see an authentic stagecoach, hear from a cowboy-poet, and much more. Our activity area will keep children busy learning to make pinch pots and other period crafts.
